Wauwatosa Earn 3-2 Victory at The Hive
|
Both teams had their opportunities, but in the end, the Wauwatosa Indians got the win.
The Wauwatosa Indians eked out a 3-2 win versus the Madison Beehive at The Hive. Nobody did more than pitcher Luis Velez. He was terrific. Ryan Keough was called on to finish, recording his 9th save.
Wauwatosa used a well-timed hit by Dick Bezemer to capture the win. The second baseman socked a 2-run double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Indians ahead, 3-2. Though it was his only hit in 3 at-bats, it was important.
"We just didn't score enough runs to win," said Madison manager Jim Edwards.
After today's action, Wauwatosa sits at 23-19, while Madison falls to 6-38.
