Ottman Lifts Seagulls to 10-4 Win
David Ottman knocked in 3 runs to help Clearwater beat Rock River, 10-4. Ottman produced 1 single, 1 double, and 1 home run. John Hunter was the winner. He's now 1-4. The loser was Jimmy Welch. With the win, Clearwater pushed its record to 23-20.

The Seagulls got a big hit from second baseman Jeff Hewitt. Facing Rock River pitcher Danny Grotberg in the bottom of the seventh, Hewitt pounded a grand slam home run to left-center. His 1st home run of the season put the Seagulls ahead, 10-2.

"We hit the ball on the barrel," said Clearwater manager Ayub Ndadaye.
