Melis Masters Fraser Valley in Complete Game Win
The Rock River Rats scooped up a win at The Rat Hole, dumping the Fraser Valley Black Bears, 4-1. Michael Melis, who is tied for 5th in the TAA with a 2.81 ERA, was essential to his team's success. Rock River has an impressive 31-16 record.

Melis, who was born in Nola, Campania, delivered a quality start for Rock River. The 6-foot-2 left-hander allowed 1 earned run on 6 hits over 9 innings of work.

"When you have a good rhythm and good flow, it's nice to just go out there and pound the strike zone with confidence," said Melis.
