Gomez goes 3-for-5 in Rams Win
The Frisco Rams powered past the Clearwater Seagulls, 8-7, at Chapman Field. Danny Gomez provided some of the pop. He was 3-5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4. The Rams saw their win-loss record go to 19-21. At the same time, the Seagulls fell to 19-20.

The result might have been different, had it not been for 23-year old second baseman Jeff Brokaw. Brokaw had a 2-run double in the top of the eighth inning to put the Rams ahead, 8-6. For the game, Brokaw had 1 double and 2 singles in 5 at-bats.

After the game, Brokaw applauded his team's resolve. "We kept our focus on the task before us," he said.
