Windsor first baseman Harlan Elliott played a vital role in his team's 7-2 conquest of Clearwater. He went 2 for 3 with a home run, a walk, and was hit by a pitch. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for Windsor. Windsor pitcher Jim Frizzell earned the win, hiking his record to 2-0. Bryan Forman suffered the loss. Their 25-16 record puts the Royals second in the TML AA Bruce Bochy Division.
Ritchie Turco helped his team take an early lead with a run-scoring single. It came in the first inning, making the score 2-0, Royals.
