Beehive Lose to Seagulls in Walk-Off
The Clearwater Seagulls finished off the Madison Beehive, 5-2, in 10 innings. A good share of the credit went to pinch hitter John Grashoff. Grashoff went 1-1 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Seagulls. Scott Perciavalle, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2063 draft, picked up the win in relief. Jose Contreras took the loss for Madison. The Seagulls improved their record to 28-23 by beating Madison.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the tenth. With two out, Grashoff hit a splitter from Jose Contreras for a 3-run home run. The Seagulls, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"Our team showed some gumption," said Grashoff. "I like it."
