In a close game at The Rat Hole, the Rock River Rats edged the DeKalb Cornhuskers, 5-4. Rock River shortstop Fernando Arellano stood apart with his performance. He was 1-3 with a double and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Neal Hancock earned the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 1.2 innings. His record is now 1-1. Rock River is now 34-17, DeKalb 28-24.
