Seagulls Get Past Beaumont for 6-5 Win
Clearwater beat Beaumont at Chapman Field, eking out a 6-5 win. The triumph was primarily due to center fielder Aaron Rowe. He was 3 for 4 with a triple, 2 singles, and 2 walks, while scoring 2 runs. Clearwater reliever Greg Doss picked up the win to move to 3-3. David Frisk suffered the loss. Clearwater, now 23-23, holds down 4th place in the TML AA Jim Leyland Division.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With two out, Rowe hit a fastball from Alex Meza for a run-scoring single. The Seagulls, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"This wasn't a good win," said Rowe. "It was a great win."
