In a low-scoring tilt between the Evanston Bishops and the Boston Whitecaps, 25-year old right-handed pitcher Kyle Ott was the difference-maker. The Evanston right-hander spearheaded the 3-0 win. With this game in the books, Evanston is 29-24, Boston 30-24.

The Bishops got a big hit from left fielder Jessie Porter. Facing Boston pitcher Chris Knotts in the bottom of the fifth, Porter pounded a run-scoring double to left-center. His 6th double of the season put the Bishops ahead, 2-0.
