The Windsor Royals powered past the Fraser Valley Black Bears, 11-6, at Windsor Grounds. Gerald Lambruschini provided some of the pop. He was 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Tom House earned the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed 1 run on 4 hits in 3.2 innings. His record is now 1-0. Windsor raised its record to 25-23 with the win.

With Windsor trailing 5-2 in the bottom of the fourth, Lambruschini hit a cutter from Justin Hornick for a grand slam home run. It was his 5th home run of the season and put the Royals ahead, 6-5.

"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Lambruschini.
