Rockets Get One-Run Win at Niagara Falls
The rain could not keep the home crowd from enjoying a good ballgame.

The Kelowna Rockets handed the Niagara Falls Pipe Fitters a 6-5 defeat at Pipe Fitters Park. Center Fielder Joe Ranieri starred for Kelowna. He was 4 for 5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 2. Angel Acosta, the winner, is now 1-1. He struck out 3 and walked 3 over 5.2 innings, while allowing 5 runs on 7 hits.

Mark Loughery was 2 for 4 with 2 singles against the Pipe Fitters. In the top of the first inning, he reached on an error by the center fielder, driving in 1 run, putting Kelowna in front, 1-0.
