Pipe Fitters Rally to Eke Out Win
The Niagara Falls Pipe Fitters took Evanston pitcher Symão Alegro's best shot and still were able to claim a win at FUBU Field. The final score had Niagara Falls getting past the Bishops, 2-1. Alegro went 9 innings and allowed 1 run, striking out 4. Steve Hoefling, now 2-2, picked up the win in relief. He allowed no runs on no hits in 2 innings. The Pipe Fitters raised their record to 22-27.

Jack Johns had a direct impact on the outcome. Johns contributed a run-scoring ground out in the top of the tenth inning to put Niagara Falls up, 2-1.
