Frisco pitcher Javy Alfaro had a large part in his team beating the Niagara Falls Pipe Fitters, 9-3. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. The Pipe Fitters, at 36-25, have lost 5 straight games.

Ivan Vidal had a big 2-run double for the Rams in the bottom of the second inning. With Frisco leading 3-0 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he got a circle change from 26-year old right-handed pitcher Danny Snow and swatted a double to left-center. It was his 1st double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Rams ahead, 5-0.

"I warned the team before the game," losing manager Jonathan Kelly told reporters, "that I'm wearing the same pair of undies until we win."
