Hackers Take Tight Tilt
Randy Sellman, despite pitching a good game, was disappointed in the outcome: a tough, 2-1, defeat for the Clearwater Seagulls at the hands of the Silicon Valley Hackers at San Jose Municipal Stadium. Silicon Valley, at 43-19, is cruising.

In the bottom of the fourth, Arturo Bolivar delivered a clutch hit. With two gone and runners on 2nd and 3rd, the Silicon Valley center fielder hit a 2-run single, putting the Hackers in front, 2-1.

"Well, it's always frustrating to lose," said Clearwater manager Ayub Ndadaye.
