Good production from second baseman Khalil Easterling helped the Niagara Falls Pipe Fitters topple the Fraser Valley Black Bears, 8-5. Easterling was 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 for the Pipe Fitters. Geoff Dwyer was the winner. Over 5.2 innings, he yielded 5 runs on 9 hits, with 2 walks and 5 strikeouts. Today's win puts Niagara Falls at 32-21, while Fraser Valley falls to 25-29.
Andy Olsen, who is tied for 3rd in the TAA with a .347 batting average, aided the Niagara Falls cause with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the sixth. For the game, the shortstop went 2-3 with 2 singles and a walk.
