The first-place Wauwatosa Indians took on the Black Mountain Mountaineers in front of a spirited crowd.

The Wauwatosa Indians powered past the Black Mountain Mountaineers, 12-8, at Albert Park. Jacob Ekberg provided some of the pop. Blue Collar went 3-4 with 3 singles and a walk, while scoring 2. Wauwatosa is in first place in the TML AA Bruce Bochy Division with a record of 37-18.

David Thompson had a big grand slam home run for the Indians in the bottom of the third inning. With Wauwatosa trailing 2-1 and the bases loaded, he got a curveball from Bill Cavanagh and swatted a home run to left. It was his 10th home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Indians ahead, 5-2.

"I still think this team can play even better," Ekberg told the Wauwatosa Times.
