Evanston 6-5 Win Hard-Earned
The Evanston Bishops scored a tight, 6-5 win versus the Beaumont Drillers at Drillers Stadium. Evanston pitcher Lorenzo Ledesma held his own in the contest. Willis Paulino earned the save for Evanston, his 3rd. The win makes Evanston 40-27.

Ken Martin came through with a big-time hit for Evanston. The first baseman smacked a solo home run in the top of the tenth inning to give his team the lead, 6-5. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"When you think about it," Ledesma said, "there's often a fine line between triumph and tragedy. One pitch, one swing of the bat can make all the difference."
