Rockets Lose Late, 3-1
The Niagara Falls Pipe Fitters got a magnificent effort from pitcher Jonathan Crabb, who kept Kelowna hitters in check en route to a 3-1 Pipe Fitters win at Joey Naples Memorial Colloseum. The win belonged to Joe Singer in relief. His record improves to 1-1. Alan Moors took the loss for Kelowna. Jason Griffith earned the save for Niagara Falls.

Niagara Falls needed the clutch hitting of Emeric Bruno to seal the deal. The first baseman swatted a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Pipe Fitters on top, 3-1. For the game, Bruno had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"I tell our guys all the time, 'Every pitch is the right pitch if you put it in the right place, you believe in it and have conviction,'" Niagara Falls manager Aidan Uren said.

Niagara Falls now owns a record of 43-23.
