Peacocks Tuck Away 4-2 Win Over Niagara Falls
|
The Murraysville Peacocks defeated the Niagara Falls Pipe Fitters, 4-2, at Pipe Fitters Park. Murraysville was led by 27-year old third baseman Jimmy Graf, who was 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs. Earning his 14th save of the year was Alex Estrada. The Murraysville win streak is now 4 games.
An inflection point occurred with no one out in the top of the seventh. That's when Peacocks center fielder Glen Adelman hit a fastball from Matt Wright for a 2-run single. Just like that, Murraysville was up, 2-1.
"We're just going to try to build off this win," said Graf.
