Beehive in Free Fall, Lose 8th Straight
Fans were not deterred by the threat of rain. They came to see their hometown Louisiana Crocodiles take on the Madison Beehive.

The Louisiana Crocodiles used a top-flight performance from 23-year old right-handed pitcher Danny Siwek to beat the Madison Beehive, 2-1, in 11 innings. The winner was Nolan Maughan in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Carlos Serrato took the loss.

The Crocodiles got a clutch hit from shortstop Fernando Arellano. In the bottom of the 11th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Crocodiles.

"Things will change for us," said Madison manager Leon Morris. "When things change, we'll get clicking."

Louisiana now owns a record of 26-32.
