Behind the hitting of Yasumitsu Watanabe, the Beaumont Drillers stopped the Niagara Falls Pipe Fitters, 11-10. Watanabe went 3-5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 3 for the Drillers. The loss makes Niagara Falls 40-29.

Adam Buxton took Niagara Falls hurler Danny Snow deep in the bottom of the eighth. His 2-run home run put the Drillers on top, 11-10. In all, Buxton had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 2.
