The Madison Beehive and Silicon Valley Hackers delighted fans at San Jose Municipal Stadium.

Silicon Valley right fielder Mark LeJeune made his presence felt in the 5-2 Hackers triumph over the Madison Beehive. LeJeune was 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The winner in relief was John Paronto. He is now 4-0. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2.2 innings.

Dennis Roberts had a big solo home run for the Hackers in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Silicon Valley leading 1-0 and the bases empty, he got a changeup from Esteban Pavon and swatted a home run to left. It was his 3rd home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Hackers ahead, 2-0.

"It all comes down to execution," said Silicon Valley manager Brad Jones. "Baseball 101."

Silicon Valley, at 48-22, is 6½ games up in the RCL AA Lou Piniella League.
