Luis Alvarado was in a mood to talk following the Frisco Rams contest against the Silicon Valley Hackers, expounding to BNN reporters on his pitching philosophy. He had good reason to be excitable, having tossed a complete game shutout of the Hackers, 2-0.

"There are three important elements in pitching success: location, location, and location," Alvarado said. "I was hitting my spots time and time again."

The right-hander blanked Silicon Valley on a 4-hitter, allowing 3 walks and racking up 9 strikeouts.
