Kelowna Rockets starter Jeff Spotton was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the Black Mountain Mountaineers, 4-2. Cody Paskert closed out the game, earning his 12th save. Their 34-28 record puts the Rockets 4th in the RCL AA Lou Piniella League.

Eddie Korson delivered a big hit for Kelowna. The first baseman drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Rockets ahead, 4-2. It was his only hit, but it was a beauty.

Korson attributed the win to his team's "concerted effort."
