The Roaring River Steelheads stopped the Niagara Falls Pipe Fitters, 7-6, behind an impressive performance from Larry Neal. The 24-year old left fielder made life miserable for Niagara Falls pitching. He went 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks, while scoring 2 and driving in 4. Justin Bissey was called on to finish, recording his 1st save. Roaring River is now 34-38. Niagara Falls is 41-31.

Neal had a game-changing double in the top of the ninth. On a 0-1 fastball from Dave Wenzel, he banged a bases-clearing double to center, giving the Steelheads a 7-6 lead. It was the 11th double of the year for Neal.
