Bishops Get Plucky, 3-2 Win Over Seagulls
Evanston turned a good effort from starter Tony Hazelgrove into a win over the Clearwater Seagulls at FUBU Field. The final score was 3-2. The Seagulls, at 30-34, have lost 5 straight games.

The decisive blow was delivered by Dale Huss in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a run-scoring double off 24-year old right-handed pitcher Rodolfo de Gante to win the game for Evanston. The home crowd went nuts.

"That's baseball," said Clearwater manager Ayub Ndadaye. "You're not always going to be hitting on all cylinders."
