Clearwater Seagulls starter Darwin Lamb pitched well against the Marysville Monarchs at Chapman Field, leading his team to a win, 7-3. The Seagulls are now 44-31.

Harry Beauman had a big 3-run home run for the Seagulls in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Clearwater leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he sized up a fastball from 23-year old right-handed pitcher Ken McCutcheon and punished it. The result was his 4th home run of the season, which put the Seagulls on top, 4-0.

Beauman attributed the win to "energy and focus on the part of everyone."
