The Windsor Royals beat the Niagara Falls Pipe Fitters, 8-6, at Windsor Grounds. The win was due in part to first baseman Antonio Plascencia, who was 3-3 with a home run, 2 singles, and was hit by a pitch. George Main finished to wrap up his 8th save. The Royals improved to 49-29.

Windsor took the lead, 8-6, on Alberto Melchor's 5th home run of the season. The 3-run home run came off Niagara Falls pitcher Salvador Aguilar in the bottom of the eighth.

"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Plascencia said after the game.
