Adirondack right fielder Scott Booth had a 3-RBI game, which helped his team beat the Boise Hawks, 8-5. Jim Turner wrapped it up, recording his 1st save. The Hawks, at 34-34, have lost 6 in a row.

Bobby Houp had a big bases-clearing double for the Lumberjacks in the top of the first inning. With Adirondack leading 2-0 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from 25-year old right-handed pitcher Raul Guerrero and swatted a double to left-center. It was his 3rd double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Lumberjacks ahead, 5-0.

"We've got a great group of guys," Houp said, "and we're having fun right now."
