The Sandy Springs Spartans dealt the Carson City Mustang a 3-2 loss at Cowboys Stadium. Jesse Mangini was the star on offense. He was 3 for 3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The winner in relief was Ernie Jones. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 2 hits in 2 innings.
