Rams Fall Short, 3-2, at Wauwatosa
|
In a low-scoring contest between the Wauwatosa Indians and the Frisco Rams, 21-year old right-handed pitcher Danny Gregory proved to be the difference. The Wauwatosa right-hander earned props for his performance in the 3-2 Indians win. Gregory yielded 2 runs over 7.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 6 hits, walked 1, and struck out 7. His record improves to 4-1. With the win, Wauwatosa goes to 37-43, while the Rams fall to 44-35.
The Indians got a big at-bat from designated hitter David Parker. For the game, Parker went 1-4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the fifth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 5th home run of the season gave Wauwatosa a 3-2 lead.
"Danny gets tougher when he has to, makes a big pitch when he has to," said Wauwatosa skipper Matunde Kabaila.
