The Windsor Royals picked up a win at Windsor Grounds, dropping the Carson City Mustang, 4-3. Josh Caldwell, who is tied for 6th in the TAA with a 8.6 K/9 rate, was the difference-maker. The Royals saw their win-loss record go to 40-31. At the same time, the Mustang fell to 23-46.

The decisive blow was delivered by Mel Brace in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a 2-run home run off fireballing 6' 8" right-hander Damien Lamboglio to win the game for Windsor. The home crowd went nuts.

"Josh was in attack mode the whole game," said Windsor manager Luis Hernández.
