The Buzzard's Bay Beetlecats went down to defeat to Dan Gardner and his Evanston teammates. The final score was 7-2, in favor of the Bishops. With the win, Evanston pushed its record to 45-36.

Bruce Morey, who is tied for 7th in the TAA in stolen bases with 6, took Buzzard's Bay hurler Chet Black deep in the bottom of the seventh. His 2-run home run put the Bishops on top, 3-1. In all, Morey had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 3.
