Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Boston Whitecaps and Sandy Springs Spartans.

Boston Whitecaps starter Francisco Rodriguez pitched well against the Sandy Springs Spartans at The Studio, leading his team to a win, 4-3. Chris Sarne picked up the win in relief for Boston, while Victor Crawford took the loss.

The game was decided with no one out in the bottom of the ninth. With Boston trailing 3-2, T.J. Kirkpatrick hit a cutter from Steve Roth to right-center for a 2-run single. Just like that, the Whitecaps had a walk-off win.

"This wasn't a good win," said Kirkpatrick. "It was a great win."

With the win, Boston goes to 48-35, while the Spartans fall to 46-37.
