Starting pitcher Matt Walker pitched well enough to help the Pacifica Shamrocks beat the Spokane Bulldogs, 7-3. The Shamrocks saw their win-loss record go to 28-47. At the same time, the Bulldogs fell to 29-44.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Andrew Read? The Pacifica shortstop had a 2-run double in the top of the first inning to put the Shamrocks on top, 2-0. For the game, Read had 1 double and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"It was a good team win. Everybody threw something in," Walker told the Pacifica Daily.
