The Pacifica Shamrocks and Carson City Mustang obliged fans looking for a good time.

The Pacifica Shamrocks topped the Carson City Mustang, 5-4, with youngster Ruben Perez playing a key role. Perez went 2-3 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Shamrocks in the win. Getting the save was Luis Calderon, his 3rd.

Perez had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the sixth. On a 0-1 cutter from Armando Ramos, he banged a 3-run home run to left, giving the Shamrocks a 5-2 lead. It was the 4th home run of the year for Perez.

"I'll probably toss and turn tonight," Carson City manager Orinosuke Matsuoka said, following the tough loss.

Pacifica is 5th in the RCL AA Gene Mauch Division with a record of 31-58.
