Canucks Get One-Run Win at Boise
The Moose Jaw Canucks picked up a win at Basque Block Field, topping the Boise Hawks, 4-3. On the mound for Moose Jaw was right-hander Bobby Hamilton. He played a principal role in the triumph. The winning pitcher was Hamilton, now 6-4. He tossed 7 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 3 and fanning 3. The Canucks are now 53-24.

Moose Jaw used a clutch at-bat from Tony Curiel to capture the win. The left fielder hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Canucks ahead, 2-0. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"Bobby giving us the start that he did was huge," said Moose Jaw manager Anandam Ramanathan.
