Trulson, Peacocks March to 6-1 Victory
|
The Murraysville Peacocks dumped the Beaumont Drillers, 6-1, in large part due to catcher Brian Trulson. On the day, Trulson was 4-4 with a home run, 3 singles, and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Peacocks. The setback makes Beaumont 40-52.
The Peacocks benefited from an error in the top of the fifth inning. Murraysville was leading 2-0 when Glen Adelman hit a 2-run single that was misplayed. It put Murraysville in front, 4-0.
"It's nice to come out on top today," said Trulson.
