The Silicon Valley Hackers downed the Frisco Rams, 8-7, in 10 innings at San Jose Municipal Stadium. Jose Fuentes led the way, going 2-for-4 for Silicon Valley. Silicon Valley reliever Paul Massaro was credited with the win. His record goes to 1-0. Carey Leblanc took the loss for Frisco. Silicon Valley leads the RCL AA Lou Piniella League by 6 games.

The Hackers got a clutch hit from right fielder Dennis Roberts. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Hackers.

"This place went bonkers at the end," Roberts said.
