Beaumont Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
Beaumont beat Buzzard's Bay at Drillers Stadium, escaping with a 7-6 win. The win in large part was due to second baseman Kyle Brunner. He went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Beaumont reliever Luis Mojarro snagged the win, upping his record to 1-1. Robby Medlin shouldered the loss. Beaumont is now 42-53, Buzzard's Bay 45-49.

The decisive blow was delivered by Aaron Knowles in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a solo home run off 27-year old right-handed pitcher Robby Medlin to win the game for Beaumont. The home crowd went nuts.

"This place was rockin'," said Knowles.
