The Roaring River Steelheads earned a win at Red Bull Stadium, knocking off the Murraysville Peacocks, 5-3. On the bump for Roaring River was right-hander Evan Gerber. He had a starring role in the triumph. The win makes Roaring River 41-52.

Had John Dunaway not delivered a key base hit in the top of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 2nd, Dunaway hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 4-3, in favor of the Steelheads.

"Evan was good -- real good," said Steelheads manager Mike Bouffard.
