Jordan Leads Hackers to 17-10 Win Over Rams
The Silicon Valley Hackers topped the Frisco Rams, 17-10, with youngster Dale Jordan playing a key role. Jordan went 4-4 with a home run, a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 2 for the Hackers in the win. With the win, Silicon Valley pushed its record to 53-27.

The Rams had been locked in a 8-8 tie with the Hackers going into the bottom of the fifth inning. That changed quickly when the 19-year old second baseman Steve Svehla came to the plate. Svehla hit a 3-run home run on a full count fastball from Frisco hurler David Tisdale. It was Svehla's 9th home run of the year.

"Our goal is to improve each and every day," Svehla told the Silicon Valley Bulletin.
