Thanks in large part to first baseman Adam Wiggins, the Spokane Bulldogs clipped the Roaring River Steelheads, 6-4, in 10 innings. Wiggins went 2 for 2 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Spokane pitcher Ernie Nielsen earned the win, hiking his record to 1-3. Mike Vega suffered the loss. The losing streak for Roaring River has now reached 13 games.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the tenth. With two out, Wiggins hit a screwball from Mike Vega for a 2-run home run. The Bulldogs, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

Roaring River manager Mike Bouffard said after the game: "It seems like when our pitching is there our bats haven't been and then vice versa. Right now we're just waiting for it all to click."
