McDaniel Excels, Louisiana Blows Out Boston
The Louisiana Crocodiles beat the Boston Whitecaps, 13-3, at The Studio. Pat McDaniel, in particular, was impressive. He went 3 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 5. Danny Siwek, the winner, improved to 3-3. He held the Whitecaps to 3 runs on 2 hits over 5 innings, while striking out 4 and walking 6. Boston now owns a losing streak of 5 games.

With the game tied, 3-3, in the top of the sixth, McDaniel had a key at-bat for Louisiana. With the bases loaded, McDaniel hit a 2-run single off Tim Rae, making the score 5-3, Crocodiles.

"It's always great to put the barrel on the ball and contribute," said McDaniel.
