The Boston Whitecaps downed the Murraysville Peacocks, 9-0, at Red Bull Stadium. Boston pitcher Danny Arias had a scintillating performance. The win hiked the Boston record to 61-42.

Arias was the winner. He's now 6-8, after putting the Murraysville offense in a vise grip. Over 8.2 innings, he gave up no runs on 3 hits, while racking up 6 Ks.

"When Danny executes, it really doesn't matter what the other lineup is," said Boston field general T.J. Hall.
