The Rock River Rats picked up a win at The Rat Hole, knocking off the Sandy Springs Spartans, 4-3. On the mound for Rock River was right-hander Marlon Walton. He played a key role in the triumph. The Rats have now won 4 straight.

Adam Dixon delivered a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the bottom of the 12th to win it for the Rats. For the game, Dixon drove in one run.

"Marlon's focus was outstanding. The way he handled every moment -- when there was a little trouble, he didn't lose his tempo or his rhythm," said Rock River manager Shunso Sato.
