Rams Drop 8-7 Decision to Pipe Fitters

The Niagara Falls Pipe Fitters beat the Frisco Rams, 8-7, in part because of first baseman Sammy Gillin. He was 1 for 2 with a double and 2 walks, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. Steve Hoefling nailed down the save. The second-place Pipe Fitters go to 52-36.
Azregh Kamoga helped out the Niagara Falls cause in the bottom of the sixth inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the left fielder went 1-4 with a triple and a walk.
"You can never predict what'll happen," Kamoga said. "That's why you play the game."
