Cornhuskers Come Back Late to Top Indians, 5-3
The DeKalb Cornhuskers handed the Wauwatosa Indians a 5-3 defeat at The Corn Crib. Catcher Bob O'Connor starred for DeKalb. He was 2-3 with 2 singles and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The save went to Jimmy Johnson, his 14th this season. With the win, DeKalb upped its record to 53-53.

Lynn Baxter took Wauwatosa hurler Elijah West deep in the bottom of the eighth. His 2-run home run put the Cornhuskers on top, 5-3. In all, Baxter had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.
