Whitecaps Fall, 17-10, to Juneau, Bishops
The Evanston Bishops dumped the Boston Whitecaps, 17-10, in large part due to third baseman Gary Juneau. On the day, Juneau went 4 for 6 with a home run and 3 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 5 for the Bishops. The win puts the Bishops at 42-48, while the Whitecaps drop to 54-36.

Ben Horn delivered a big hit for Evanston. The pinch hitter drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Bishops ahead, 11-10. It was his only hit, but it was a beauty.

"Baseball's a game where I feel like almost everything that happens is strange," said Juneau. "Maybe that's why it's such a great game."
