Rockets Earn Win with Late Rally
In a low-scoring contest between the Kelowna Rockets and the Niagara Falls Pipe Fitters, Jeff Spotton was the X factor. The Kelowna right-hander spearheaded the 3-2 win. Reliever Ryan Wride picked up the win. His record improves to 2-2. Brendon Wager took the loss. The win puts Kelowna at 49-43 this season.

The game was at a stalemate until pinch hitter Malik Cousin came to bat in the bottom of the eighth. Facing Niagara Falls pitcher Brendon Wager, he hit a 1-0 curveball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Kelowna on top, 3-2.

"Every loss hurts," said Niagara Falls manager Bryant Thomas. "But this was a tough one."
